Every year, St. Andrew's hosts a wonderful pre-Christmas celebration of carol singing, musical performances, youth group skit and children's programme, finishing up with a visitor from the North Pole and Christmas goodies for all!
This year's event was no exception. The youth group mused about how a group of superheroes might respond to the coming of one born to save the world ("But that's OUR job!"), and the children played the roles of the animals coming to the stable to welcome the Christ child. Vince sang Silent Night, and Yohan played guitar and sang Mary Did You Know? We sang lots of carols together, with Sharon and Emily and Yohan and Kerri and Vinay playing, and Evelyn takingthe piano for one tune too!
