Our monthly free Neighbourhood Lunch this month had a "Valentine's Day" theme as we gave thanks to God for those whom we love.
The members of the Outreach Team decorated the parish hall for the occasion and all wore some combination of red, white and pink to add to the festive atmosphere.
In addition to the nourishing soups and sandwiches, we enjoyed some yummy Valentine's Day treats (although a few were heard to mourn that Lent had begun already and they had given up dessert!).
We were delighted to have Ruth on the piano for an old-fashioned sing-along, and Tony, Marjorie and Reg led us in a rousing rendition of "How Great Thou Art" to celebrate God who is the source of all love.
