Our monthly 'Messy Church' for younger children and their parents happend on Saturday, June 20th.
Our focus for today was the story of David and Goliath. Found in the First Book of Samuel in the Bible, the story is about how God was with the boy David when he defeated the giant warrior Goliath and saved his people from having to fight a war. When God is with us, it doesn't matter how small we are, we can accomplish amazing things!
We made slingshots of paper coffee cups and balloons, and decorated paper bag pouches to hold our "stones" (which were really mini marshmallows!).
